Provenance & ethical sourcing

From regeneratively grown vegetables from Full Circle Farms to responsibly sourced seafood from George Campbell & Sons, we work with suppliers who share our values—championing ethical farming, sustainable fishing, and high-welfare agriculture. Our dairy and bakery partners are chosen for their commitment to craftsmanship and sustainability, ensuring that every dish we serve is both exceptional and responsibly sourced.

A GREENER WAY
to dine
Sustainability isn’t just a goal—it’s something we actively measure and improve across our venues. By using Klimato carbon labelling, we track the environmental impact of every dish, already achieving a 38% reduction in CO2e at the Gateway Café, located within Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, by refining our menus and eliminating high-impact recipes.
Our efforts are recognised by the Soil Association’s Food for Life accreditation, with some of our cafés achieving Silver and Bronze awards for serving food that is fresh, ethically sourced, and free from unnecessary additives. By prioritising climate-conscious ingredients and responsible farming, we’re making every meal a step toward a better future.
